Day 40 – Nov. 9

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” -Psalm 133:1

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” -Luke 10:27

As we end our 40 Days of Prayer, let us continue to pray every day for our community, our state, our nation, and our world. Although we have different opinions, so much more can be accomplished when we are unified, looking to God for guidance.

Father, we thank You that we live in a nation where people can openly unite in prayer to You. As we close our 40 days of prayer, we ask You to bless our community with unity and love while we work together to improve the quality of life for everyone here. We pray for the people of our community to stand up for what is right and put their faith in action. 

Give us a spirit of boldness, working with all of Your energy (Colossians 1:29), to accomplish Your will for our community. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
