Addicts and Their Families
Scripture
“So do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous hand.” -Luke 4:17-21
Observation
Trusting that God will give our family member the courage and strength to overcome their addiction and, as their family, that God will help us to always be the love and hope that they need.
Prayer
Heavenly Father we humbly ask for Your guidance. Help our addicted family member to submit to You, because in their surrender they gain Your power. Show them a new path to change that is full of hope, and a life free from shadows. Grant us who are standing by their side, patience, understanding, and the wisdom to offer the right kind of support. Let our actions always reflect Your love and foster healing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
