Day 29 – Oct. 29

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” —Isaiah 40:31

Our school employees and staff have a special calling as they shape young minds for the future. As rewarding as this can be they are many difficulties and frustrations they face. So many children who are hurting and lost. It is our Prayer that our teachers will be a shining light to each and every student and Christ will shine bright through their actions.

Today, we lift up our school employees and staff to You. Thank You for every person who gives their time and energy to care for our students. Lord, give them wisdom as they teach, lead, and encourage each day. When they feel overwhelmed, remind them that they do not have to rely on their own strength. Give them strength when they are weary, patience when situations are difficult, and peace when their days feel chaotic. You know the things that may frustrate, discourage, or weigh heavily on their hearts. Protect their emotions and remind them that their work matters.

Help them know that even when they don’t see the impact of what they do, You see every act of kindness, every encouraging word, and every sacrifice they make. Let their faith, words, attitudes, and actions be a light to the students they serve. Protect our school staff and their families. Give them good health, strength, wisdom, compassion, and joy. Lord, let our schools be a place filled with kindness, grace, safety, and love. May the light of our school employees and staff shine brightly so that our students may see something different in them—and ultimately see You through them. Thank You for these who pour into our children every single day. Bless them, strengthen them, and remind them that what they do makes a difference. Amen.
