Wisdom in Navigating Social Media
Scripture
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” -Proverbs 4:23
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” -Romans 12:2
Observation
Our screens can be doorways—either letting in God’s truth or flooding our hearts with harmful messages. What we watch, read, and engage with shapes who we are. Guarding our heart means setting boundaries, seeking God’s wisdom, and letting His Word be the filter for all we consume and share.
The digital world can amplify both good and evil at lightning speed. Social media and cultural trends can be tools for encouragement or traps for division and distraction. God calls us to live with intentionality, walking wisely and using every moment—even our online interactions—for His glory.
Prayer
Lord, help me to pause before I post and to listen before I speak. Give me discernment to recognize truth, courage to stand for it, and love to share it. May my time and words online honor You and draw others closer to Christ.
