Day 15 – Oct. 15

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” -Proverbs 16:3

Business ownership brings both opportunity and responsibility. The long hours, financial decisions, and the effects on the community can feel overwhelming. Yet God invites us to place every plan, decision, and transaction into His hands. When we commit our work to Him, not just in moments of crisis, but daily, He brings clarity, peace, and purpose to our efforts. As we trust His guidance, we see that our businesses are not merely about profit, but about service, integrity, and reflecting Christ in the marketplace.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of work and the privilege of having local businesses fill needs in our community. We pray that You guide the decisions of business owners so they honor You and bless those they serve. May their businesses not only thrive in the marketplace but also serve as instruments of Your grace in Searcy. Protect them from discouragement, and remind them that true success is found in faithfulness to You. We ask for your favor, your insight, and your presence in their daily work and future plans of these businesses. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
