Praise of Christ

Scripture

“And He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything He might be preeminent.” -Colossians 1:18 ESV

Observation

As we come together in each of our places of worship, may we collectively offer up our praise to Christ. He is the Lamb of God who was slain, the head of the Church, the author and finisher of our faith, and the One in whom all things hold together.

In a world marked by division and instability, we find our anchor in Christ. As the perfect example of what humanity was created to be, he sustains us and leads us forward. No matter what season we are in—as individuals, families, or churches—He remains constant, supreme, and faithful.

When we lift our praise as one voice, we declare that Jesus is preeminent in our lives and our community. We acknowledge His Lordship and welcome His presence. We hold to the hope that one day every knee will gladly bow and every tongue will confess that he is Lord.

Until that day, let this moment of community prayer be more than words. Let it be a rising celebration of faith, unity, and surrender to the One who holds us all together.

Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ, You are the center of everything. You are before all things, and in You all things hold together. You are the head of the Church, the beginning and the end, the author and finisher of our faith. As a united community, we exalt You. We praise You for who You are—Savior, King, and Sustainer. Let our hearts, homes, and churches be filled with Your presence. Align us with Your will, bind us in Your love, and lead us in Your truth. We join you in praying for the coming of Your Father’s Kingdom and His will being done in Searcy as it is in heaven. Amen.
